Who are the Cal State Trustees?
The Board of Trustees has 24 members--16 are appointed to eight-year terms by the governor, five serve on the board because of the offices they hold, and three represent constituency groups (faculty, students and alumni). These three are appointed by the governor for two-year terms. There are three vacancies on the board at present.
